MY FAVELA features 6 unashamedly personal party tunes and the result is a brutal tropical blend of original mutant punk carioca tunes infused with baile-funk beats, old school electro, and classic sampled lines over vocals sung in English and Portuguese. The album features collaborations with MC Deize Tigrona – queen of the baile funk scene in Rio de Janeiro (Injeção/Slum Dunk Presents Funk Carioca) and Paul B. Davis (8 Bit Construction Set/Beige Records) L.I.C.K. MY FAVELA was recorded in Brazil and Europe and it presents some of the tracks you heard on Tetine’s live shows but haven't been able to get a hold of. The 500 copies in vinyl will be sold in selected shops and also online on Tetine’s website and through Kute Bash Records.
